About the Role:
With the recent launch of Workday ERP (Finance and HR) and the Workday Student Information System (SIS) implementation, Kaeppel Consulting is seeking an experienced Workday Product Manager to oversee these systems in their post-launch phase and first year of production. This role will manage issue resolution, evaluate and implement new features, and drive the Workday roadmap.

Location: Onsite San Antonio, TX (Local candidates preferred)
Start Date: May 1st
Duration: 13 Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Post-Launch Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues.
- Future Release Management: Monitor and manage system updates and ensure smooth integration with existing processes.
- Evaluation and Implementation of New Features: Assess new Workday functionalities and oversee their successful deployment.
- Workday Roadmap Planning: Develop and execute plans for Phase X, new modules, and Workday Extend initiatives.
- Workday Expert Liaison: Collaborate with the system implementation partner (Alchemy) to ensure ongoing production support and enhancements.
Requirements:
- Higher Education Experience: Strong understanding of ERP systems within a university or educational institution.
- Workday Expertise: Hands-on experience with Workday ERP and/or SIS, or similar Higher Education ERP systems.
- Project & People Management: Proven ability to lead projects, manage stakeholders, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to assess system performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions.
- Communication & Leadership: Ability to effectively communicate with IT teams, administrators, and executive leadership.
- Onsite Availability: Candidates must be available to work onsite for the majority of the time; local candidates are preferred.
