About the Role: Kaeppel Consulting is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong focus on the business side of operations, particularly in finance environments. The ideal candidate will excel in process mapping, with a proven ability to facilitate and collaborate effectively during process mapping sessions. This role requires someone who understands the intricacies of finance processes and can drive business improvements by analyzing and optimizing workflows. Key Responsibilities:

• Process Mapping: Lead and participate in process mapping sessions with business stakeholders, documenting current processes, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
• Business Analysis: Work closely with finance teams to understand their needs, gather business requirements, and translate them into actionable insights that drive process improvements.
• Facilitation and Collaboration: Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to gather input, build consensus, and ensure alignment on process changes and improvements.
• Requirements Documentation: Develop detailed documentation of business requirements, process flows, use cases, and other relevant materials to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
• Gap Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and areas for improvement, with a focus on delivering value to the business.
• Change Management: Support the implementation of new processes or systems, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption by business users through training, support, and effective communication.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for ongoing process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on process mapping and improvement in finance or related environments.
• Strong understanding of finance processes and terminology, with the ability to align business objectives with process enhancements.
• Excellent facilitation and collaboration skills, with experience leading process mapping sessions and driving consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, such as BPMN, Lean Six Sigma, or similar.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Finance or related field.
• Experience in the finance or banking industry, with a deep understanding of finance operations and regulations.
• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Lean Six Sigma, or similar.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Familiarity with process modeling tools, such as Visio, Lucidchart, or ARIS.
