Job Title: IT Project Manager (Court Reporting)
Contract to Hire, Fully Remote w/ less than ten percent travel
Kaeppel Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in court reporting, case management systems, and working with Agile development teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of projects, mitigating risks, and ensuring the effective integration and performance of case management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects related to case management systems, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Court Reporting Expertise: Leverage your experience in court reporting to provide valuable insights and ensure that case management systems meet the specific needs of legal and court-related functions.
Case Management Systems: Oversee the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of case management systems, ensuring they align with the organization’s objectives and legal requirements.
Agile Development: Collaborate with Agile development teams to facilitate the integration of new features and functionalities into case management systems, ensuring smooth transitions and user satisfaction.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues related to case management systems and project delivery, developing contingency plans as necessary.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and outcomes.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including risk logs, issue logs, and project status reports, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership: Guide and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Project Manager in court reporting or a related legal field.
In-depth knowledge of case management systems and their implementation in legal environments.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with Agile development teams.
Excellent risk and issue management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities.
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
